Course Funding

COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate

There is funding for the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate through Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS). The part-time fee grant is only available to eligible candidates that undertake all 4 modules of the course.

The main eligibility requirements are being a Scottish resident and having personal income of under £25,000 a year (not household income). The grant will pay £402 towards the £1200 course fee. Here at Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre, we offer interest-free payment plans on all our courses. Tuition fees can be repaid monthly or per module. Please get in touch to discuss payment plans.

Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Interventions

There is also the SAAS part-time fee grant available for our Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Interventions (CertCBI), which is credit rated by Edinburgh Napier at SCQF level 9. The eligibility requirements are the same as mentioned in the COSCA above and will pay £402 of the £2,300 course fees. Our interest-free payment plans can be used to pay of the remaining costs monthly.

*Please note that the SAAS part-time fee grant is a different type of funding from the full-time fee grant. Even if you have received the full-time grant in the past, you may still be eligible for the part-time funding. However, you can not apply for both fee grants in the same school year.

For more information and application forms for SAAS, please follow the link provided http://www.saas.gov.uk/forms_and_guides/part_time.htm

Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

There is no SAAS funding for our Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (DipCBT) as the course is credit rated by Edinburgh Napier at SCQF level 11.

There is a Professional and Career Development Loan, offered through The Co-Operative Bank, that can be used to fund the course. http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/loans/career-development-loan
