The Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has been designed to allow you to be competent in the delivery of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and provides a professional qualification which will enable you to practice as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. You will learn to critically evaluate the theory of Cognitive Behavioural therapy and to develop and reflect on related skills.
Many of you in this difficult time may want to develop such skills to pursue a new career in therapy, or simply to help others.
You can read more about the course content on the training page. You can also contact us for further information.
We have successfully been delivering the Diploma Course since 2011 and many students have graduated and are in employment or private practice in Scotland and abroad. Some are now involved with training themselves.
We are now recruiting for the new Diploma course starting on the 26th of August 2020. It will run on a Wednesday evening and 15 Saturdays per year over the academic year. Ideally you will have studied the COSCA Certificate in counselling skills or have related experience.
At the moment we are continuing our courses by Zoom, but we will return to face to face when the government guidelines allow. Be assured we will follow any social distancing or government guidelines in place.
Please contact us for an application form. Interviews will be held when your application is received.
